Creality
The widest range and the largest installed base. That second point matters more than any specification: when something goes wrong, a Creality machine has the deepest pool of guides, spare parts and people who have already solved your problem.
It is also the brand with the most developed 3D scanning line, which is a genuinely different capability rather than another printer — scanning turns an existing object into a model you can modify and reproduce.

Built a reputation in resin and then carried it into filament. Strong value at the accessible end of both, and the brand many people meet first because the entry price is approachable without the machine feeling cheap.

Anycubic

The newest of the four and the one that changed expectations about setup. Machines arrive calibrated and print reliably out of the box, with multi-colour handled properly rather than bolted on.
You pay more, and what you buy is time — less tuning, fewer failures, less fiddling. Whether that is worth it depends on whether your time or your budget is the scarcer resource.

The specifications that actually matter
Marketing emphasises print speed. In practice these matter more:
- Enclosure. The real capability difference — it is what allows ABS and ASA to print without warping, and it keeps dust out of the mechanism. It cannot be added properly afterwards.
- Automatic bed levelling. Now standard, and the single biggest cause of failed first prints when absent.
- Build volume. Buy larger than you think you need. Everyone eventually wants to print something bigger.
- Hardened extruder. Required for carbon-fibre and filled filaments, which destroy brass nozzles quickly.
Speed is oversold. A print that finishes at moderate speed beats one that fails at maximum speed, and most people run below the maximum once they understand the trade-off.
What Egyptian conditions change
Heat. PLA softens around 60 °C, which a car interior passes easily in summer. If your parts live anywhere warm, you need PETG at minimum — and for ABS or ASA you need an enclosure, which narrows the choice at purchase time.
Humidity and dust. Filament absorbs moisture and prints badly when wet: stringing, weak layers, popping in the nozzle. Sealed storage with desiccant is genuinely necessary near the coast. Dust settles into open-frame mechanisms and shortens component life — another quiet argument for an enclosure.
Local support. Warranty service, spare parts and someone to ask matter more than a small specification advantage. A machine bought abroad with no local support is the more expensive option the first time it needs a part.
